Privacy Policy

1. What Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Sairaa Studios:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password (hashed and encrypted).
  • Payment information: Processed and stored securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
  • Usage data: Number of videos, images, TTS minutes, and SEO reports generated.
  • Content metadata: Titles, descriptions, and settings for generated content. We do not analyze the content of your scripts.
  • YouTube account data: When you choose to connect your YouTube channel via Google OAuth, we collect and store your OAuth access token and refresh token to enable video uploads to your channel on your behalf. We also collect your YouTube channel name and channel ID solely to display your connected channel within the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription.
  • Send transactional emails (welcome, upgrade confirmation, password reset, trial reminders).
  • Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.
  • Improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
  • Upload video clips to your connected YouTube channel when you explicitly request it via the Video Clipper feature.

3. Data Storage

Your generated files (videos, images, audio) are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 in the US-West-2 region. User account data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Abacus AI. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. YouTube OAuth tokens are stored encrypted in our secure database and are accessible only to the authenticated user they belong to.

4. Data Retention

Generated files are automatically deleted after 15 days. Account data is retained until you request account deletion. Upon deletion, all personal data and generated content are permanently removed within 30 days. YouTube OAuth tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect your YouTube channel or delete your account. YouTube API data including channel name and channel ID is not retained beyond your active session and is not stored long term.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management.
  • OpenAI: Text-to-speech audio generation and video processing.
  • Abacus AI: Platform hosting, image generation, and video processing.
  • AWS S3: Cloud storage for generated files.
  • YouTube Data API v3 (Google): Used to authenticate your YouTube channel via Google OAuth and to upload video clips directly to your own YouTube channel when you use the Video Clipper feature. Our use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Sairaa Studios' access to your YouTube account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

6. YouTube API Services — Additional Disclosure

Sairaa Studios uses YouTube API Services exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To authenticate and verify your connected YouTube channel via Google OAuth.
  • To upload video clips you have created within the app directly to your own YouTube channel when you explicitly click “Post to YouTube.”

We do not access, read, store, analyse, or share any YouTube data beyond what is strictly necessary for these two functions. We do not access your YouTube watch history, subscriptions, comments, or any other YouTube account data.

You may revoke our access to your YouTube account at any time by visiting https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing Sairaa Studios from your connected apps. Revoking access will disconnect your YouTube channel from the app and delete all stored OAuth tokens immediately.

7. Cookies and Sessions

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. Session cookies are essential for the Service to function and expire when you log out or after a period of inactivity.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you through your Account page.
  • Update or correct your personal information at any time.
  • Download your generated content before it expires.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Disconnect your YouTube channel at any time, which immediately revokes and deletes all associated OAuth tokens and YouTube account data from our systems.

9. Children's Privacy

Sairaa Studios is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.
